TCA Advanced Peel Solution Spa Backbar Treatment Protocols

TCA facial peel treatment
Recommended for professional use in spa or dermatologist office. Upgrade your backbar treatment peels with the TCA Advanced Peel Solution. Basically, there are three phases or strengths (Mild, Medium, and Strongest Strength peel treatment) that can be done. Treatment is recommended monthly. Please see the three treatment protocols below.
_________________________________________
Phase One, The Mild TCA (start off with first time clients)
Step 1. Thoroughly cleanse the skin, we recommend using Dermatologist's Choice pH Balanced Cleanser, to prepare for the professional strength TCA treatment peel.
Step 2. Apply phase one, meaning only apply one layer of acid on skin, of the TCA Advanced Peel Solution. This treatment contains medical-grade (~15% pure non-neutralized TCA acid) that helps boost cellular turnover to visibly minimize lines, wrinkles, and acne while evening skin tone. This treatment is contained in an easy roll-on applicator. To apply, gently roll TCA solution onto the skin in a long horizontal motion starting at the forehead and working down to the chin or neck. Sanitize the applicator with disinfectant before use again.
Step 3. Swipe a pre-soaked swab with water over skin to cool treated areas.
Step 4. Follow with application of a SPF moisturizer or moisturizer of client/provider's choice. We recommend the Dermatologist's Choice Ultimate Restorative Hydrating Complex.
Pro Tip: Consult with clients regarding their tolerance of the treatment and skin goals. If a client would like a stronger treatment, increase the amount of TCA Advanced Peel Solution layers applied (Step 2).  The treatment is recommended at least once a month. Days after treatment, the client is recommended to generously moisturize skin .

Phase Two, The Medium TCA (For clients who would like to graduate from phase one or on their 3rd to 5th visit. This treatment adds a step to help the TCA penetrate deeper for a stronger treatment).
Step 1. Thoroughly cleanse the skin, we recommend using Dermatologist's Choice pH Balanced Cleanser, to prepare for the professional strength TCA treatment peel.
Step 2. Swipe a pre-soaked swab with Dermatologist's Choice Purifying Facial Toner over skin to remove any lingering oil on the skin.
Step 3. Apply up to three layers, depending on desired strength, of the TCA Advanced Peel Solution to the skin.
Step 4. Swipe a pre-soaked swab with water over skin to cool treated areas.
Step 5. Follow with application of a SPF moisturizer or moisturizer of client/provider's choice. We recommend the Dermatologist's Choice Ultimate Restorative Hydrating Complex.
Pro Tip: Consult with clients regarding their tolerance of the treatment and skin goals. If a client would like a stronger treatment, increase the amount of TCA Advanced Peel Solution layers applied (Step 3).  The treatment is recommended at least once a month. Days after treatment, the client is recommended to generously moisturize skin.

Phase Three, The Strongest TCA + Glycolic Peel (For clients who would like to graduate from phase two or are more tolerant of acid peels. This treatment adds the glycolic acid peel to advance the strength and results of the treatment.)
Step 1. Thoroughly cleanse the skin, we recommend using Dermatologist's Choice pH Balanced Cleanser, to prepare for the professional strength TCA treatment peel.
Step 2. Swipe a pre-soaked Dermatologist's Choice Glycolic Peel Cleansing Pad over skin to remove any lingering oil on the skin and pre-treat skin with glycolic acid. Dispose of pad after use. Option to swipe a pre-soaked swab with water over skin to cool treated areas.
Step 3. Apply up to three layers, depending on desired strength and tolerance, of the TCA Advanced Peel Solution to the skin.
If a client would like a stronger treatment, increase the amount of TCA Advanced Peel Solution layers applied (Step 2). Similarly, if treatment is too strong for the client's tolerance and excessive "tingling" or redness occurs, reduce strength. The treatment is recommended at least once a month. Days after treatment, the client is recommended to generously moisturize skin.
