Chemical peels are solutions applied to the skin of the face, neck or hands. The solution is left on your skin for a few minutes or neutralized and removed, taking the old, damaged skin layers with it. There are different levels of chemical peel treatments–light, medium and deep–and each will provide different results and have different recovery times.
